Five mistakes that proved Fatal for Pakistan - India vs Pakistan 4 June 2017

A much Hyped match, which seems to be one-sided now as India won it by a Huge Margin of 124 runs, but the question is what shifted this match from the biggest battle to a totally one sided match.

Many persons can have different opinions on the point as to how an expected greatest battle turned out to be a boring match. These five mistakes of Pakistan that proved fatal must be considered before deciding.

India vs Pakistan Cricket Battle

Bowling First - ICC Champions Trophy, 2017 4th match at Edgbaston, Birmingham and Pakistan winning the Toss. well, with this pitch and surface one should have elected to bat first as far as the pitch is concerned.

Another point is, Average 2nd Innings scores on the ground is way less than the Average 1st Innings scores but Sarfaraz choose to field with a view that Pakistan will chase well contrary to this that India is famous for their Batting and Pakistan is famous for Bowling.

Yes, It has been India's Bating vs Pakistan's Bowling from so long. I guess, choosing Bowling was not that cool.

Poor Fielding - well Pakistan was surely doing good initially, as the first ever boundary came in the fifth over but Pakistani's failed to continue with this and the reason is admittedly fielding.
I think we were not up to the mark with the fielding. Everything was under control till the 40th over. We lost the plot in the last 8 overs. - Sarfraz Ahmed
Rohit's catch drop was another blunder which proved fatal for Pakistan, as on the very first ball he backed out Shadab Khan for a Huge six and completed his half-century and scored valuable 91 of 119 balls for India.

Though, Unlucky Rohit couldn't make it into a century and was run out but still gave a good start to India with more than 136 runs opening Partnership.

Last overs - It seems Pakistan totally relied upon its spinners and you can not do well with spinners against India. That's the only rule. There were bouncers too but last overs of Pakistani bowling proved fatal.

Special Thanks to Wahab Riaz and Imad Wasim with  10.04 and 7.20 economy rate respectively, which helped India cross 300 and put huge 319 runs on the scoreboard.

Last over - by Wasim. umm... Spin bowling yet again proved to be a wrong decision. what came in sarfaraz's mind? which resulted in 3 consecutive Sixes in the final over by Pandya and end of Indian Innings was with 6-6-6-0-1-4 and 23 came off the final over which made India Finish 319 for 3.

    Just few overs ago,Kohli was 45 of 57 balls,next 11 balls 36 to finish with 81*of 68.
Great finish for India this. Pandya superb.#INDvPAK

Partnership - well whatever happened in the First innings. Though, there was a mountain like target, Pakistan still could revive if they had been successful in  forming partnerships and a faster start, but on the contrary, there was a slower start for Pakistan with threeearly wickets of 47-1 Shehzad, 61-2 Babar Azam, 91-3 Azhar Ali.

That too, before even completing 100 runs. If you are chasing a Target of over 300 runs you just cannot afford to give away wickets just like that. Not even a single player of Pakistan could make even a Half-Century except Azhar.

This all resulted in a turning of the most awaited and most hyped Cricket Battle between India and Pakistan to a boring match which was totally one-sided and a Huge 124 runs win for India.

Rest is History, whatever the match was, Boring or exciting but Pandyas three Back to Back Sixes made it interesting for Indian Fans at least.
